Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the Virginia area. This role requires a qualified healthcare professional to work night shifts, providing critical care in a high-volume emergency department environment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/24/2026, with a duration of 11 weeks, and involves working every other weekend.

Job Details:

Shift Time: Nights
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Active VA (Virginia) or Compact License, at least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED with trauma level 2 or 1, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course). Prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, ATLC), prior Cerner EMR experience
Travel Required: Yes
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
Employment is for a fixed duration of 11 weeks, starting on 08/24/2026. The assignment involves working every other weekend. The organization will cancel the assignment up to 36 hours prior due to census changes. All requirements including RTO (Request for Time Off) must be in the initial submission packet. Locals within 60 miles are not accepted.
