Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse in a mental health and wellness facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves working on an adult psychiatric unit, providing patient assessments, safety monitoring, and de-escalation in a challenging but rewarding behavioral health environment. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with de-escalation of patients with mental illness; adaptable in learning medical documentation needs; candidate must have 0 or more years of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Behavioral health experience, ability to work team-oriented, and willing to meet patients where they are.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to senior care unit, if needed.
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with vital sign machines and lab draw equipment. On-call is not required. The facility emphasizes safety, security with staff duress buttons, onsite security, and a strong safety culture.
