Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse in Ukiah, California. This role involves providing patient-centered nursing care within a busy oncology ward, supporting patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective care while supervising and directing other nursing staff as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026 and ending on 11/29/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 2 years of experience, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC/ONCC-CHIM), and EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or physicians office oncology experience.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for collecting patient assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, assisting with surgical procedures, and participating in discharge planning. Responsibilities also include delegating duties and providing education to patients and families. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient advocacy in a clinical setting.
