Description

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in a healthcare facility in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing critical care to patients in the Coronary Care Unit, with a focus on rapid response to urgent situations. The position is suitable for qualified professionals with current ICU experience and relevant certifications.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH; Education: Current license to practice in Kansas; Experience: Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience
Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience; Experience working in large facility ICU units
Unit Information:
- Location: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214
- Bed count: 26 beds
- Staff: 15 members (including 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Technician)
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Equipment: Balloon pumps, CRRT, Hypothermia, EMRMeditech
- Typical Procedures: Heart caths, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, medication drips
Additional Information:
- Please review unit policies and guidelines for detailed operational procedures.
- No Request for Time Off (RTO) or special scheduling requests accepted after acceptance.
- CAPS are required after acceptance.
