Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity surgical and medical setting. The ICU nurse will perform assessments, manage emergency procedures, and support patient recovery throughout their perioperative journey, including pre-operative and postoperative care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree; RN License; BLS; ACLS; 1 year ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This is a high acuity Surgical and Medical Step Down Unit (SDU). Candidates must have ICU experience, demonstrate assessment skills, clinical knowledge, documentation accuracy, professionalism, safety adherence, and patient education capabilities. Responsibilities include supporting patient testing, evaluating pre-admission testing orders, and ensuring effective communication with patients and families. The position requires the ability to prioritize care, follow universal protocols, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
