Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Kealakekua, Hawaii. This role involves providing clinical care for patients in a rural community hospital's labor and delivery department. The RN will perform tasks related to labor, delivery, and nursery care, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, and supporting maternal and neonatal health. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and community impact.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii nursing license; labor and delivery and nursery RN experience with couplet care; intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills; must have experience with at least one year of clinical practice; suitable for candidates with 0 years minimum experience if applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rural community hospital settings; additional certifications in fetal monitoring preferred.
• Additional Information: Reference checks should be sent via email. Do not call for reference checks. This position may require float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse. Candidates should be available to start on 08/09/2026 and work approximately 72-80 hours every two weeks, with an additional $2.00 per hour when assigned charge nurse duties.
