Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Montana. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in an emergency care setting. The role includes assessing patient health status, planning and implementing nursing care, providing health education and counseling, executing medical procedures, and coordinating patient referrals, all in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Working mostly nights and evenings with a shift length of 12 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, and 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification appropriate for the ER unit or service.
  • Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualification based on operational needs. Flexibility to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts may be necessary. The position involves clinical duties related to health data assessment, health teaching, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, documentation, and resource utilization.
