Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse is a vital member of the care delivery team in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through clinical expertise, compassionate patient interactions, and collaborative teamwork. The nurse will oversee the care of adult patients, applying evidence-based practices and professional standards to promote healing and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/01/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or applicable state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, and active licenses and certifications in Pennsylvania (PA Act 31, 33, 34, 73; PA Act 73).
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree or higher education in nursing.
• Additional Information: The position involves patient-centered nursing care on a Medical Surgical Floor, utilizing clinical judgment and fostering a healing environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and patient teaching skills.
