Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse position is based in Aspen, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery department, supporting patients through childbirth and postpartum processes. The position requires adherence to facility standards and delivers critical patient-centered care on night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN), unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date, Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses - Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM). The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner (STABLE). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred. Experience with EPIC preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at high elevation (8,000 feet). Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It is recommended to consider housing options in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Typical rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Basalt runs around $3,500/month.
