Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse Infusion Specialist in Salinas, California. This role involves providing outpatient chemotherapy and infusion care to adult patients. The nurse will assess, plan, and deliver individualized patient care within an outpatient infusion department, working under the supervision of the director. The position requires collaboration with healthcare teams, positive communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate proficiency with oncology infusion procedures and electronic health records.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards, Chemo Certification from Oncology Nursing Society. Experience: minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months within the past year working in outpatient chemotherapy/infusion. Epic experience preferred, with a minimum of 6-12 months within the past year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); more than one (1) year of clinical RN experience in specialty areas is preferred.
- Skills: Outpatient chemotherapy, infusion therapy, Epic, patient care planning, patient assessment.
- Additional Skills: Collaboration with healthcare teams, positive communication skills, clinical oncology knowledge, infusion-related knowledge, floating within cluster/similar department.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
- Certifications & Licensure: Current California RN license, current BLS/Healthcare Provider status, chemo certification from Oncology Nursing Society.
