Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Saint Helena, California. Job Details:

• Location: Saint Helena, CA
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, with possible call requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience; experience working with behavioral health units; working knowledge of mental health patient care in adult psychiatric settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior psychiatric nursing experience in acute care facilities.
• Additional Information: The role functions within a specialized psychiatric environment, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 in behavioral health units with 10 patients and 1:6 in a 21-bed adult psychiatric unit. Opportunities for possible call shifts. The position requires collaboration with mental health technicians and adherence to safety protocols for mental health patient care.
