Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse, Emergency Room - Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing critical care in a Level III trauma emergency department within a healthcare organization serving the Four Corners region. The position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and psychiatric patients, utilizing team nursing and pod system models.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Department: Emergency Department
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, minimum of two weekend shifts included
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Hours per Week: 36 hours minimum
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association, 2 years of emergency department experience, ability to work nights, located in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis cases, moderate sedation skills, familiarity with the Cerner electronic health record system, trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis experience preferred
- Additional Information: Team nursing and Pod System, social worker assigned to department, unit educator, relevant equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat Point-of-Care devices, Ultrasound Guided IV.
