Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Wound Care Specialist in Silver Spring, Maryland. This position involves working a Monday through Friday schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with occasional weekends. The ideal candidate must possess Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification to provide specialized wound care services.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Wound Care
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 08/16/2026
- Required Qualifications: WOCN certification; 1 year of clinical experience in wound care; valid Maryland licensure or applicable state licensure; minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex wound management; certification in advanced wound care techniques.
- Additional Information: The role involves following facility protocol, providing patient assessments, wound dressing changes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Flexibility for occasional weekend work may be required.
