Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Rochester, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality and compassionate patient care within the labor and delivery department. The nurse will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential, along with participating in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring their implementation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working every weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- OBIX experience
- Epic experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications specified above.
- Up to one (1) week of requested time off (RTO) will be approved at the start of employment.
- The initial start date for this position is 08/11/2026.
- The assignment is located at 1101 W UNIVERSITY DR, ROCHESTER, MI 48307.
