Job Summary:
This position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in Gardner, Massachusetts. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions for critically ill patients. The ICU Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in accordance with established protocols and promotes a safe, supportive environment for recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS certification; at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience; previous telemetry experience; ICU experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire); CCRN certification preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Assesses and reassesses patient conditions, including pain management and cardiac monitoring.
  • Administers medications, including vasoactive and thrombolytic therapies, following protocols.
  • Monitors mechanical ventilation and performs related procedures.
  • Participates actively in multidisciplinary team rounds and ensures proper documentation of patient care.
  • May be required to perform tasks beyond basic duties as needed, with adherence to safety standards and clinical protocols.
