Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires accountability for delivering high-quality care utilizing specialized knowledge, clinical judgment, and nursing skills, with a focus on patient safety and effective outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required, and at least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area of ICU.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification in critical care are preferred.
- Additional Information: This position involves direct patient care within a clinical environment, including assessments, planning, coordination, and documentation of nursing interventions specific to critically ill patients. The RN will interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families, complying with all regulatory and professional standards. The role may include supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel, and participation in unit or facility quality improvement initiatives.
