Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position located in Pleasanton, California. The role involves providing expert, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients within a hospital setting. The ICU RN will assess and interpret patient data, implement and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care. This role emphasizes professional development, clinical excellence, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, at least 1 year of nursing experience, based in California
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in intensive care or critical care units, additional specialty certifications in ICU nursing
• Additional Information: The nurse will create a healing environment, provide emotional support, and manage patient discomforts. Responsibilities include patient assessment, collaboration with healthcare teams, patient education, and emergency response activation. The role requires effective communication, clinical judgment, and leadership in professional practice.
