Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Englewood, Colorado. This role entails providing compassionate and team-oriented patient care on a busy surgical unit. The RN will be responsible for post-operative assessments and comprehensive patient care, ensuring quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification must be in submission packet, experience in medical-surgical or post-operative care, proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Preferred Qualifications: GYN/Oncology experience, Urology experience
• Responsibilities: Perform post-operative assessments and care, manage pain including PCA and epidurals, maintain Foley catheters, and provide patient education
• Additional Information: Unit offers post-prostatectomy, hysterectomy care, and pain management including PCA and epidurals. Qualifications include a team-oriented, compassionate personality that adapts well in a fast-paced environment.
