Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, 11-bed Emergency Department environment. The selected candidate will work variable shifts, including nights, with a focus on maintaining excellent patient outcomes and adhering to facility protocols.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: One year of current acute care emergency department registered nurse experience; Certifications include BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
- Preferred Qualifications: ER charge registered nurse experience; willingness to float between ER departments
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Unit features GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and a Meditech electronic medical record system. The team includes 2 RNs and 1 paramedic per shift, with a patient ratio of 1:4. Procedures performed include EKGs, IVs, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care.
