Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced trauma environment, supporting a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts and a commitment to patient safety and exceptional care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 1 year of current acute care emergency department (ED) nursing experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Ability to work mid-shift or night shift.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Room charge nurse experience; willingness to float between ED departments.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have experience with EKGs, IVs, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care. The unit utilizes GE monitors and Baxter pumps, with Meditech electronic medical records. The team includes 2 registered nurses and 1 paramedic per shift, with a patient ratio of 1:4. The environment is equipped with new technology and experienced staff, offering a dynamic and supportive work setting.
