Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a high-volume, hospital-based Emergency Department in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing acute care within a busy ED setting, offering opportunities to work with advanced equipment and a collaborative team in a competitive market.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Positions Available: 1
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1-year current acute care Emergency Department (ED) RN experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPCCPI), Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large hospital setting, prior Meditech experience.
• Additional Information: The unit is a freestanding emergency department converted to a hospital-based ED with increased resources including respiratory therapy, staff on med/surg/ICU floors, full laboratory services with staff, and onsite radiology including CT, MRI, echocardiography, X-ray, and ultrasound. The team is seasoned, with a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork and good staff tenure.
