Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 26-bed operating room setting with a focus on trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures. The role requires a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality patient care during scheduled day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for days, with 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license with at least 2 years of operating room experience, including trauma experience. Candidates should have travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general surgery, GU/GYN, orthopedics trauma, joint replacements, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, or endovascular procedures.
- Float: N/A
- Additional Information: The position involves working with equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot. EMR utilized is Epic. The unit focuses on operating room procedures with patient ratios of 1:1, and Scrub Color is teal. Candidates must be flexible, accountable, timely, and team-oriented.
