Job Summary
Long Term Care Nurse in Soldotna, Alaska. This role involves managing individualized, goal-directed nursing care utilizing the nursing process and principles of primary nursing, in accordance with departmental policies and standards of nursing practice. The position offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts available, along with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with any Sunday through Saturday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts on a rotational basis. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS certification, COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Additional Information:
- Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and principles of primary nursing.
- Skilled in the use of a personal computer, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and clinical databases.
- No bed size specifications; on-call as needed.
- Orientation: General and Planetree orientations are required.
- Cancellation policy allows for up to 24 hours? notice within a 13-week assignment.
- Charting system utilized: EPIC.
