Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Miami, Florida. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical unit that performs a variety of procedures, including robotics and neurosurgery. The role requires collaboration with a skilled team to ensure smooth surgical operations and patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications, a minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting, strong experience in orthopedic, neuro, and robotics surgeries, willing to float to general operating room
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, capable of functioning independently in a surgical setting
• Additional Information: Prepare operating room, arrange equipment, assist doctors during surgeries, inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment, keep inventory records, handle pre- and post-surgical procedures including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings. The position involves working in a facility that has recently undergone significant upgrades, is a certified comprehensive Stroke Center, and has received the American Heart Association Gold Plus Achievement Award.
