Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Tyler, Texas. This position involves working in a busy surgical department with a focus on orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urological procedures. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting various surgical specialties, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent, state license in Texas, minimum of 1 year of OR experience, experience with Epic charting system, and familiarity with the types of surgeries listed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and eye surgeries is a plus.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Additional Information: Shifts include rotating days off, with minimal call responsibility, requiring 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. All candidates must have a valid state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal, and all onboarding core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
