Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse position is available at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring intermediate to complex level care, including stroke, heart failure, respiratory failure, and post-surgical monitoring. This position requires flexibility to float within scope across various units as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred; 2 years of RN experience; minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips, providing respiratory support such as High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), and caring for patients with GI, genitourinary, renal, neurological, orthopedic, respiratory, and surgical needs.
• Additional clinical skills include IV therapy, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care, and use of Rapid Response Teams.
• Must be willing to work at least 2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays within a 6-week period.
• Annual patient census approximately 30 with a 30-bed unit.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Open to accommodating block schedules.
• Pending license accepted.
• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius.
• RTO (Reasonable Time Off): Max of 7 days; all requests must be finalized at time of submission.
• Compliance documents are due 2 Fridays before the start date with mandatory modules and training completed as specified.
• Work setting includes adult and geriatric patient populations with diagnoses such as stroke, heart failure, pneumonia, COVID, post-surgical recovery, and renal failure.
