Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity located in Denver, Colorado. This position involves monitoring and circulating in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab environment, supporting patients with acute myocardial infarctions, electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart interventions. The role requires providing quality patient care within a fast-paced, acute care setting on a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Rotating, 10-hour shifts, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM with weekday call generally once per week; weekend call approximately once every six weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, Colorado license to submit, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior cath lab experience, familiarity with EPIC and MacLab EMR systems, ability to monitor and circulate during procedures.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include supporting approximately 17 cases daily, assisting cardiologists with electrophysiology and structural heart procedures, and adhering to hospital policies including cancellation, dress code, and charting requirements. The role involves active participation in call duties with a response time of 30 minutes; floating outside of the unit is not typically required.
