Description

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves providing specialized patient care in the post-anesthesia recovery setting. The role requires coordination of patient assessments, implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate exhibits strong clinical skills and adheres to safety and quality standards within the organization.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, full-time hours totaling at least 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via the American Heart Association; ACLS Certification via the American Heart Association; PALS Certification via the American Heart Association; Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in care delivery; Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Minimum of 0 years of experience; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely according to patient developmental age.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: This position backfills for a prior staff member, with an immediate start date of 08/17/2026. The role involves clinical responsibilities specific to post-anesthesia care, including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning in a surgical services environment.
