Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology on the Oncology Floor is sought for a position at a healthcare facility located in Danbury, Connecticut. This role involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical setting, with the flexibility to float to related units as needed. The position is ideal for an experienced HCP who holds the required licenses and certifications, committed to delivering quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Position: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse
- Location: 24 Hospital Ave, Danbury, CT 06810
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Connecticut (CT) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification preferred
- Additional Information: The role requires adherence to facility policies, with potential to float to medical/surgical units as needed. Candidates must have valid licensure and certifications, and be prepared to work 2+ years of relevant clinical experience.
- Schedule: The shift runs from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with weekend shifts per schedule period.
