Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Joplin, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex medical needs in a high-acuity environment. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 hours, 1900-0730, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, minimum 2 years of experience in a high-acuity ICU, current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, PALS and TNCC certifications preferred, must be able to titrate complex intravenous medications including vasopressors.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for trauma, stroke, and STEMI patients in a level II trauma center.
• Float: Float to areas of clinical competence may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has 24 beds with patient ratios typically 1:2, but may vary depending on acuity. Equipment includes IV pumps, chest tubes, GE monitoring, Artic Sun, glucometers, and feeding pumps. The EMR used is EPIC. Candidate personality traits should include flexibility, dependability, strong teamwork, patience, and a focus on quality. The dress code requires black scrubs.
