Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse position in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheter Lab within a magnet-level trauma facility. The assignment requires adaptability to float to related units and adherence to the outlined on-call schedule, supporting adult and geriatric patient populations.
Job Details:
- Shift Hours: 10 hours, Days shift
- Schedule: 4x10 Days shifts per week, with an on-call requirement of 1 day per week and during the 4th/5th weekends (Friday at 1800 through Monday at 0730)
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association) are required
- Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty*, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Stent Placement, Central Venous Access (Non-tunneled/PICC, Port), Cardiovascular Interventions, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, ICU/Interventional Radiology procedures, and more as specified in the Clinical Skills list
- Required Qualifications: AK RN license in hand, 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, experience with Epic charting system, and ability to work adult and geriatric patient populations
- Float: Float within scope to related units such as Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) may occur
- Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. Pending license accepted; license must be in hand for auto-offer. Candidate will be responsible for obtaining housing options in the area, as options may be limited.
