Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in a general medical and surgical unit. This position involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult and geriatric populations. The role requires adherence to departmental standards and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN (Registered Nurse) licensure, ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), 2 years of emergency department experience, or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information: This position requires experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation. Team nursing and pod system are employed, with a social worker assigned to the department and a unit educator. The unit is equipped with Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum 360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV.
