Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse located in the healthcare facilitys cardiac surgical and medical unit. This position involves providing specialized patient care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring complex procedures and emergent interventions during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  The ICU Nights unit manages adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular diagnoses, including cardiac surgical and medical cases. The role involves utilizing advanced skills such as arterial line management, chest tube assistance, ventilation management, and cardiovascular drips. The unit features a daily census of approximately 20 patients within a 24-bed facility.
• Required Qualifications:
  Valid and current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. Community Hospital experience preferred. Two years of ICU experience required, with at least 2 years of relevant clinical practice. Valid RN license and relevant specialty certification.
• Schedule:
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  May be required to float to Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, or Burn Intensive Care Unit if needed. Brief orientation on the unit and modules are completed onsite during orientation. Travelers are expected to float within their scope to similar units based on facility needs.
• Submittal Requirements:
  Candidates must hold a valid OK or Compact Registered Nurse license, along with the required certifications, at the time of submission.
