Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory Technologist position at a healthcare organization in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves providing specialized support in a high-volume EP lab, performing procedures such as ablations and device implants. The candidate will work within a dedicated team utilizing advanced equipment in a newly renovated facility.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, previous EP experience including scrubbing on all EP procedures such as ablations (Atrial Fibrillation, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Atrio-Ventricular Node), implant procedures (pacemakers, ICDs, Biventricular devices, ILR, Watchman), ability to monitor is considered a bonus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced EP procedures, familiarity with the Meditech documentation system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The EP lab features new equipment and technology, with an experienced staff and a collaborative team environment. The unit boasts one of the busiest EP programs in the organization, with a focus on leading innovative procedures in a supportive setting.
