Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation is sought for an assignment at a healthcare facility in Anderson, Indiana. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within a Level I nursery and labor and delivery unit, supporting approximately 30 births per month and performing C-section procedures as needed. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a focus on advanced fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.

Job Details:

• Location: Anderson, Indiana
• Shift Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and advanced fetal monitoring; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; must meet education, certification, and licensing requirements for practicing in Indiana
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher acuity obstetric settings, proficiency in neonatal and maternal care procedures, and familiarity with Level I nursery protocols
• Additional Information: Responsible for monitoring fetal heart rates, assisting with deliveries, and providing neonatal resuscitation. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and collaboration with the obstetric team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
