Job Summary
Postpartum Nurse (RN) in a trauma Level hospital setting, located in Somerset, Kentucky. This position involves providing care on the Mother/Baby Unit with a focus on postpartum and neonatal care. The role supports a busy unit with a maximum patient ratio of 1:6 and requires adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, BLS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, at least 2 years of experience, and the ability to work in Somerset, KY, with a minimum of 60 miles from the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on postpartum or Mother/Baby units, strong interpersonal skills suitable for a postpartum setting
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. The unit features 22 beds and employs Meditech/GE Centricity electronic health record systems. The department is focused on postpartum and neonatal patient populations, with a maximum patient ratio of 1:6.
