Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry is needed in an acute care setting within a designated healthcare facility. This role involves floating to various medical units as required and requires adherence to established clinical protocols and standards. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Florida licensed RN with at least 2 years of clinical experience, including 2 years of telemetry experience; EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system experience; valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 1 travel assignment completed, prior travel experience preferred; phlebotomy and IV start experience required; capable of floating to other medical-surgical or telemetry units as needed. Orientation sessions occur every Monday, and EPIC training will be provided during the second half of the day at new hire orientation. Candidates may test out of EPIC training based on prior experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves procedural skills such as phlebotomy and IV starts, and requires flexibility for floating to different units. The position involves working at a designated Teaching Facility that is a Level 2 Trauma Center, and a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center & Chest Pain Center. This facility has 772 beds, with units consisting of 28 private rooms. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:5-6 per shift.
