Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing, in Canton, Ohio. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment, supervising healthcare team members, and ensuring adherence to safety and clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification prior to first shift, ACLS certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), a minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, and at least 1 year of experience in critical care or ICU.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in intensive care units or similar high-acuity settings.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, participates in interdisciplinary team conferences, and documents patient care accurately and timely. Initiates discharge planning from day of admission and provides patient/family education. Responsible for supervising ancillary staff, delegating tasks appropriately, and maintaining safety standards. Participates in team building and ensures optimal use of resources to support quality outcomes. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities post-orientation, engages in ongoing professional development, and manages priorities effectively.
