Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specialized in Open Heart procedures in San Diego, CA. This role involves providing patient-centered care throughout perioperative processes, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days; 12-hour shift hours (minimum 36 hours per week)
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (AHA) certification; at least three years of recent RN experience working in a registered nurse role; at least two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area, specifically Operating Room Open Heart.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient populations and complex surgical procedures; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Additional Information: Provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including developing and adapting care plans, educating patients and families, and coordinating care with healthcare team members. The nurse will participate in patient care conferences, delegate tasks within scope of practice, and serve as patient advocate to uphold rights and preferences.
