Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery department, supporting a team of experienced providers. The role offers a steady flow of new patients from a large primary service area and requires a dedicated professional to join a collegial team.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: 3 or more years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), and STABLE certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric care and travel assignments
- Float: Travelers are required to float to any area they are qualified for.
- Additional Information:
- McLaren Northern Michigan has implemented a strict attendance policy, with a three-strike rule for absences and tardiness. Exceptions are considered in cases of communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence.
- The position is not eligible for shift incentives.
- The provider must make up any call-ins within the contract time frame.
