Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) specialty is located in Madison, WI. This position involves working in a fast-paced neuro specialty inpatient unit on a 25-bed neurosurgery general care unit. The role offers opportunities to develop skills in managing neurological conditions, post-surgical cases, and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift times are typically 0700-1930 or 1900-0730, including weekend rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, an active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license, and two years of recent acute care experience in the specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma Level II patients, neuro patient management, and telemetry monitoring.
• Additional Information: The candidate must successfully pass a Telemetry exam with strict criteria prior to start, including identification of lethal rhythms and questions on heart blocks. Inpatient RN travelers must have at least two years of recent acute care experience in the specialty they are applying for. The position requires float coverage as needed and is located at a Magnet-designated, top-ranked hospital in Madison, WI.
