Job Summary:
Radiology Nurse Practitioner position available in the outpatient radiology department within a healthcare provider located in Astoria, New York. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient safety and experience initiatives. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a focus on outpatient radiology services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 7.5 hours shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience, 1 year of outpatient and radiation safety experience; experience in radiation or radiology preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, associate degree considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program.
• Additional Information: The role includes performing charge nurse duties as assigned, coordinating with clinical leadership to ensure resource availability, and documenting practice in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. The position emphasizes patient-focused, cost-effective care and continuous professional development. The start date is 08/31/2026.
