Job Summary:
Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing general medical patient care, including post-operative and oncology care, with remote telemonitoring oversight. The role requires working night shifts with a focus on patient safety and care coordination in a medium-sized facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Education: relevant nursing degree; Experience: 2 years of medical surgical experience, including recent travel experience of at least 1 year, with Telemetry experience; Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Years of Experience: 2 years minimum
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role includes general medical administration, remote tele monitoring with oversight by a monitor technician, and caring for post-operative patients. The facility has 352 beds with a patient census of 21 in the unit, serving general medicine, post-op surgical, bariatrics, and oncology patients. A 48-hour guarantee requests are acceptable if indicated in the submission.
