Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse specializing in surgical procedures within the Alabama area. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in the operating room environment, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members. The position emphasizes critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure safe and efficient surgical operations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Call responsibilities are 7 days per month, including one weekend, with call hours from 3pm to 6:30am.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association; valid AL RN or multi-state RN license; at least 4 years of recent operating room registered nurse experience in a hospital setting; experience in Operating Room Circulator with Endoscopy; specialized knowledge in Endoscopy, Orthopedic, and General surgery, with preferred experience in ENT and GYN.

- Additional Information: The nurse will demonstrate leadership by ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrub assisting, and supervising personnel delivering patient care. The shifts are scheduled to start on 08/31/2026.
