Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in a Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized critical care services in a high-acuity environment, supporting adult patient populations with diverse diagnoses. The position offers an opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility committed to delivering exceptional healthcare.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). No minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous ICU experience is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The unit is equipped with electronic health record (EHR) systems, patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2, and supports adult patient care. The ICU team is led by the ICU manager, with responsibilities including managing adult critical care needs and operating in a busy trauma setting.
- Unit Profile: The ICU has 14 beds, with a focus on adult patient care. The facility emphasizes exceptional service delivery within a welcoming community setting.
