Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality urgent care in a Level 1 Trauma Center's bustling emergency department. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care while maintaining emergency department protocols and standards.

Job Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
Location: 1235 E Cherokee St, Springfield, MO 65804
Shift: Nights, 1900-0700 (Night shift)
Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Assignment Length: 13-26 weeks (auto-offer)
Number of Openings: 1
Certifications: Current RN License (meets Missouri requirements), BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA, TNCC, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
Experience: At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility (indicate on resume)
Equipment: EMR: EPIC
Clinical Skills: Human relations, communication, and clinical expertise in emergency trauma care; trauma/pediatrics preferred; high patient volume (200+ patients/day)
Personal Attributes: Determined, decisive, flexible
Attire: Professional scrubs, black color; avoid unprofessional clothing such as jeans
Additional Information: Utilizes nursing process to provide patient assessments and coordinate care; functions within the scope of nursing practice and hospital standards; maintains patient confidentiality.
Notes: RTO requests must be made in advance and made up later; holiday RTO limited to one per assignment. Orientation occurs on day shift, scheduled during first week.
