Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Care Unit located in Connecticut. The position involves working days shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotations including every other weekend and holidays as needed. The role requires delivering high-quality care in a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) setting, focusing on strong IMC experience.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including rotations on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, Epic electronic medical records experience, BLS certification, ACLS certification. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-acuity IMCU settings with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Additional Information: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Mandatory staffing requirements include additional hours on an as-needed basis within the unit. The organization may float or reassign staff to different departments or facilities within 30 miles, within clinical competence.
