Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry in Farmington, New Mexico, will provide patient care within a 43-bed medical-surgical unit, including telemetry services. The role involves working a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, supporting a diverse patient population with various diagnoses, and contributing to a high-quality healthcare environment in a reputable facility serving the Four Corners region.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (must be American Heart Association), a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, ADN degree, and ability to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience and oncology skills are preferred but not required
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 43
  • Patient Ratios: 1:5 and 1:6
  • Equipment: vital signs machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, tube feeding pumps
  • EHR: Cerner
• Additional Information:
  • Block scheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis with the option of 36 or 48 guaranteed hours
  • Must have at least a 3.2 overall rating on the skills checklist
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant setting, with 2 years preferred
  • No float requirements specified
