Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 11:00 AM 11:00 PM, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: 1+ years of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse; Certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); Bachelors degree or equivalent; Missouri state nursing license or pending license review; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• Additional Information:
  • The RN will be responsible for rapidly assessing patients, assigning Emergency Severity Index, providing immediate interventions, stabilizing critical patients, administering medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Shift accountability includes delegation and supervision of assigned personnel in accordance with organizational policies.
  • The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4, and 1:1-2 for trauma cases.
  • Scrub color: Royal Blue
  • EMR system utilized: Cerner
  • Blocked scheduling may be requested; 48-hour weekly guarantees cannot be approved.
