Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in the South Carolina region. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, sterilizing equipment, and preparing case carts to support operating room operations. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience working in various surgical specialties within an operating room setting.

Job Details:

• Location: AIKEN, South Carolina
• Schedule: Days shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week with 10-hour shifts; days will vary based on operational needs.
• On Call Requirement: Support involves one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month, scheduled in a six-week cycle.
• Required Qualifications: Certification and registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); NBSTSA Certification required. Must have at least two years of CST experience across various specialties in an operating room environment. BLS certification required.
• Additional Qualifications: Good communication skills; high school diploma or equivalency required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multiple surgical specialties and operating room procedures.
• Responsibility Overview: Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures, assisting surgeons, sterilizing surgical equipment, and assembling emergency and scheduled case carts.
